About the Episode
Host Mike McKinstry left his career 7 years ago to follow his passion for fishing and for inspiring others to try new things and take risks to find a career that makes them happy. In his show, “The Bassquatch Hunter – Fish Out of Water,” he introduces guests from all different backgrounds and careers to kayak fishing. Guests have included everyone from WWE wrestlers and Olympic athletes to professional comedians, firefighters, and now – AmeriGas family members. After guests spend some time in his world, Mike takes a turn being the fish out of water and explores the exciting careers of his guests.
Travel with us as Don Krathwohl, a long time AmeriGas Service Technician based in our Howell, MI office, goes ice fishing for the first time, and learns firsthand that not every day is a successful one on the lake!
After an afternoon fishing the lakes of Northern Michigan, McKinstry takes a turn exploring our world. He visits with AmeriGas Service Technician, Ken Barbier and District Manager, Steve Stone, and learns about propane, which not only offers a convenient heat source while out on the water, but is a clean fuel, which is 85% domestically produced and delivered by a family of local AmeriGas employees who take deep pride in their work and serving their neighbors in their communities.
