The AmeriGas Veteran Community
AmeriGas provides resources and benefits that support our military and veteran employees throughout their tenure at AmeriGas. In addition to a wide range of resources for physical and mental health and wellbeing available to eligible full-time employees and their families through our comprehensive benefits plans, we also maintain an internal support network through our VET (Veteran Employee Team) Employee Resource Group, which celebrates veterans within our UGI family of companies and in the communities.
VET (Veteran Employee Team) Employee Resource Group
As a member of the UGI family of companies, AmeriGas and its employees can choose to participate in the VET Employee Resource Group. Established in 2020, the mission of the VET is to recognize, support and celebrate all veterans within the UGI family of companies, as well as in our communities. The VET organization accomplishes this by participating in and sponsoring events that support our veterans and by strengthening the UGI workforce through veteran employee recruitment and retention.
