Grilled Sesame Tuna Steak Recipe

This dish is easy, savory and light, perfect for a summer meal. Start with fresh tuna steaks, add a few simple ingredients, then grill briefly. We love it accompanied by fresh green beans, sautéed  in the same ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 albacore tuna steaks
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tbs. sesame seeds
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Make a marinade with the garlic, lemon, soy, sesame oil and sesame seeds. Sprinkle tun steaks with salt and pepper, then cover with marinade and allow to marinate for 30 minutes to one hour.
  2. Heat grill to medium-high and oil the grates.
  3. Grill tuna for approximately 3 minutes per side.
  4. Remove carefully and serve!
