Looking for an impressive appetizer or main course that you can grill in a snap? Tender sea scallops are a sweet, meaty seafood that is deceptively simple to make. A few simple seasonings, a few minutes on the grill and you have one perfect dish.

Serves: 2



  • 10-12 large scallops
  • 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  1. Preheat grill to medium-high.
  2. Gently pat each scallop dry, then place them on a large plate.
  3. Brush lightly with olive oil and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill 2-3 minutes per side or until just opaque, and then serve immediately.
