We have recognized the financial challenges that many are facing due to the pandemic, and as a direct response, we announced in March the waiving of all new late payment fees through May 18th. We have extended that date through June 30th to continue to help our customers.
We have also established a new monthly payment program called Convenience Pay for customers with payment terms. Our website offers additional information about Convenience Pay and the ability to enroll today through MyAmeriGas. We have various other payment options available on a case by case basis. Helping the communities we call home
Through the years AmeriGas has supported our local communities and we continue to do so today in this time of great need. Over the last two months, AmeriGas and our partner companies have made significant donations to local food banks and community funds. Throughout May and June, we continue to raise support for these organizations.
- In April, our organization donated $200,000 to food banks and community funds to assist individuals and families needing food support and other assistance.
- Additionally, our organization’s leadership donated over $350,000 so far to food banks.
- In May, AmeriGas employees are raising funds for Philabundance, who provides support to local shelters, food pantries and after-school feeding programs. The company is matching all employee donations.
