Cilantro Lime Marinade Recipe

While simple to prepare using only a few ingredients, this cilantro lime marinade is packed with bright, fresh flavor. Try it on chicken, shrimp or beef as a marinade to tenderize and add tang to any dish you grill. You can also whip it up in a food processor for a thicker marinade, sauce or even dressing.
- 2 limes, juiced
- ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 tsp. honey
- 1 tsp. cumin
- Salt & pepper, to taste
1. Add all ingredients to a small mixing bowl and whisk to combine or use a food processor for a thicker marinade or sauce.
2. Transfer marinade to a large resealable bag and add preferred protein; let marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
3. Remove protein when marinated and grill until cooked.
