Online Services
MyAmeriGas Users and Roles
You can add additional users to your MyAmeriGas account, each with their own login, and choose what features and locations these users can access within MyAmeriGas.
Adding additional online users is optional. If you are the only online user, you’ll continue to access all available features within your MyAmeriGas account.
Below are the Roles you can assign to each user:
- Billing provides access to view and pay invoices, manage payment methods and Auto Pay.
- Delivery provides access to delivery location information and features including requesting a delivery, viewing delivery status, viewing tank levels, enrolling in Automatic Delivery and more.
- Admin access will grant a user access to all locations, features, and user management. Admin access applies to all existing and future locations, including linked accounts. A maximum of 3 Admins can be assigned.
All users will have access to manage their profile and login information, email and phone contacts, and view message center notifications for the locations assigned.
Please note all users will have access to complete transactions based on the roles and locations you assign. Please ensure the users you add should have access to this account.
Add Users to Your MyAmeriGas Account
If your MyAmeriGas account currently does not have multiple users or you have Admin access, you can add users to your MyAmeriGas account.
Below are the steps to add users to your MyAmeriGas Account:
- Select Manage Users from the My Account Menu.
- On the User Management screen, select Add User.
- Enter the first name, last name, and email address of the user you’d like to add. You can add up to 5 users at a time. There is no limit to the total number of users you can add to your account.
- Check off the user or users you’d like to assign locations and roles to.
- Select the locations you’d like to assign. Your billing account number begins with a 2 and will appear first. Your delivery location(s) begin with a 1. Click the down arrow to expand an account to view all delivery locations.
- Select the role you’d like to assign using the billing and delivery toggles. If you have multiple locations, you can use the toggles at the top to assign delivery to all locations.
- Save your location and role selections. The user’s status will update to saved.
- Send your invites to invite your users to your MyAmeriGas account.
Manage Online Users
As a MyAmeriGas account admin you can view and manage the users associated with your MyAmeriGas online account by selecting Manage Users from the My Account menu. If you have multiple locations, you can easily view the users assigned to each location by selecting the View By Location tab.
Select Manage User to:
- Update locations and roles assigned, including admin access.
- Delete an online account and remove a user from your online account.
- Update a user email address and resend an invite.
- Update a user's MyAmeriGas display name
Please note, if you were added to an online account with only billing and/or delivery access, you cannot add, view, or manage users.
