AmeriGas Propane, L.P. Business Customer Referral Program
Terms and Conditions
By participating in the AmeriGas Propane, L.P. (“AmeriGas”) Commercial Referral Promotion (the "Program"), you agree to the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). AmeriGas may at any time and in its sole discretion, without prior notice, terminate, cancel, suspend or modify the Program or these Terms.
Eligibility and Overview
The Program is available for certain AmeriGas commercial customers who meet the definition of either “Referrer” or “Referee” below.
Referrer: To participate in this Program as the Referrer, Referrer must be (1) an active eligible AmeriGas commercial customer, (2) with an account that is current on all payments owed, and (3) must not be an AmeriGas National Account commercial customer or an AmeriGas Cylinder Exchange customer. The Referrer must accept the Terms and Conditions of the Program each time a referral is submitted via the online web form.
Referee: To participate in this Program as a Referee, the potential new AmeriGas commercial customer: (1) must not be a current active AmeriGas customer, (2) must not have had an active AmeriGas commercial account in the six (6) months prior to the promotion’s start date of 3/17/23, and (3) must not be an AmeriGas National Accounts commercial customer or an AmeriGas Cylinder Exchange customer. The Referee must agree to the applicable AmeriGas Terms and Conditions for propane service as well as meet any other AmeriGas business requirements as set by AmeriGas in its discretion in order to become an AmeriGas customer.
Qualified Referral: In order for the referral to be considered a “Qualified Referral” and eligible for the invoice credit(s), the following steps must occur: (1) the Referrer must submit the Referee’s contact information on the online web form at www.AmeriGas.com/commercial-propane/why-amerigas/referral-rewards between 3/17/23 and 9/30/23; (2) both the Referrer and the Referee must meet the definitions of Referrer and Referee above; and (3) the Referee must complete all steps required to become an AmeriGas customer and receive their first propane delivery by 12/31/23 (“Qualified Referral”).
Invoice Credit: Referrer will receive a $250 invoice credit for each Qualified Referral that it refers to AmeriGas. The Referrer will receive one invoice credit per Qualified Referral, regardless of number of ship-to locations the Referee has. For each Qualified Referral, the Referee will receive a $250 invoice credit for its primary location and a $100 invoice credit for up to 10 additional locations (also referred to as “ship-tos”) that are added to the Referee’s account at the time the account is set up and prior to the Referee’s first delivery. The invoice credit for both Referrer and Referee will be applied to the first invoice each receives after the Referee receives its first propane delivery.
Additional Terms
Program is not valid for any employees, or their relatives, of AmeriGas or any of its parent companies, affiliates or subsidiaries. The Referrer cannot be an owner, employee, or agent for the Referee. The Referee cannot be an owner, employee, or agent for the Referrer.
AmeriGas reserves the right to not accept a referral for any reason at any time. AmeriGas reserves the right to not award an invoice credit or disqualify someone from the Program if we feel, in our sole discretion, that fraudulent behavior or other unethical conduct has occurred in any way that compromises the fairness and integrity of the Program in any way.
In the event of conflicting referrals for services, AmeriGas reserves the right to determine who receives credit for such referrals. AmeriGas reserves the right to approve or reject a prospective customer or to decline providing service to a customer for any reason in its sole discretion. AmeriGas reserves the right to cancel the Program without prior notice in its entirety or for a specific Referrer at any time for any reason.
Referrers acknowledge that AmeriGas will contact Referees using the contact information provided by the Referrers and will share your name with the Referrers. Referrers and/or the Referees contacted may opt out of future contacts at any time by contacting us at customercare@amerigas.com or by calling 1-800-263-7442. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions or the AmeriGas Privacy Policy (located at www.amerigas.com/legal-privacy)in their entirety, you are not authorized to register as a Referrer or to participate in the Program in any other manner. Referrers may not participate in the Program where doing so would be prohibited by any applicable law or regulations.
This Program is void where prohibited and cannot be redeemed for cash.
