Vanilla Ice with the Noritz NR98 Propane Tankless Water Heater

…And thus ends my poor attempt at an AmeriGas version of “Ice Ice Baby” (please be kind with your comments)! But really, AmeriGas did help on an episode of The Vanilla Ice Project on the DIY Network. I bet some of you didn’t know that Rob Van Winkle, aka Vanilla Ice, is also a general contractor with more than 15 years of home improvement experience . On the show, Vanilla Ice and his crew refurbishes homes. The episodes go through various projects with the supporting vendors and teaches you how to do things yourself (hence why it is on the DIY network).

Recently, AmeriGas was invited to partner with a home in in Palm Beach County. We supplied the LP tanks, gas lines to coach lamps, a pool heater and a NoritzNR98 tankless water heater (which was graciously donated by Tempaco Distributors). But of course, you already know what we provided from those fabulous lyrics above, right?!

AmeriGas Account Manager Lance Pess recalls his involvement on the project:

“I discussed with Rob how the on demand tankless water heater works, what that particular Noritz unit is rated for gallons per minute flow of hot water (9.8 GPM) & the importance re any gas appliance, to only have a licensed contractor (in this case it isn’t a Do It Yourself project) such as AmeriGas – to do the installation, with a strong emphasis on safety.”
