On my final day as CEO of AmeriGas I would like to offer my thanks to our customers who have honored us with their business, to my fellow employees who go “above and beyond” everyday to serve our customers, and to our leadership team that works so hard to realize our vision of being the most reliable, safest, and most responsive propane company in every market we serve. As someone who started with AmeriGas in 1981 as a management trainee, it has been a dream come true to serve as CEO of this remarkable company for the last twelve years. I have great confidence in Jerry Sheridan, our new CEO, and the rest of the AmeriGas team to continue to achieve high marks for customer service, safety, and for providing a competitive return for our unitholders.

We are being billed for gas delivered to a house we no longer own. I have spoken with the district, my wife has written and I just called again. You were notified about October 15, 2011. We sold the house on November 4, 2011. And the tanks were filled on November 18, 2011. I have been told i was an error, and we continue to get bills with Late Fees.
Every time I call, I have to start all over again. No one seems to keep any records of phone calls or letters.
I was searching the Internet for a new avenue, and found this site. I also found many other customers with complaints. I will continue reviewing them.
I would like to have this corrected within 48 hours. It is not that tough.

Hi Ed, we are currently looking into your account. We’ll be in touch!
Typo – it should have said, “I have been told it was an error, and we continue to get bills with Late Fees.”
The “Contact Us” for AmeriGas does not work!
