Today is my one-year anniversary of being an AmeriGas employee. What a great year it has been! Here are some of the highlights over my past year here at AmeriGas:
- Propane FYI, this wonderful AmeriGas blog, was launched on February 28, 2011.
- The AmeriGas VIP Sweepstakes was launched and one lucky winner traveled to the Homestead-Miami Speedway® for the 2011 Ford Championship weekend
- The NPGA awarded CEO & President Gene Bissell the Distinguished Service Award
- AmeriGas Partners announced plans to acquire the propane operations of Energy Transfer Partners
- AmeriGas announced the retirement of Gene Bissell in 2012
- Jerry Sheridan will be our new CEO & President
- R. Paul Grady will be our new Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

This year I received a promotion from Commercial Account Manager to Sales and Service manager. I am looking forward to what 2012 brings.
