At AmeriGas, safety is more than a priority – it is a core value. It’s also the focus of an upcoming episode of TV show, The Bassquatch Hunter: Fish Out of Water.

In this episode, AmeriGas Director of Safety Compliance & Systems, Rick Dunn, and seasoned AmeriGas Service Technician, Patrick Wasdyke, join TV host, Mike McKinstry, as they navigate two very different professional worlds – from fishing to fueling.

After Mike challenges Rick to a head-to-head fishing competition on the water, he switches gears to join the AmeriGas team for a Pre-Fill Inspection and propane delivery.

What stood out was the attention to detail and emphasis on safety that accompanies every AmeriGas delivery. McKinstry noted, “There’s a lot more steps than I thought that go into this, but I’m really glad I’m learning about this. It gives me a whole new appreciation for what AmeriGas does and also the safety procedures they implement as a company…There is so much hidden effort that goes in, and care that goes in.”

We close out the show with an eye-opening demonstration of what can go wrong if proper safety precautions are not taken – with the help of a controlled environment and a crew of trained firefighters on site.

Tune in to watch its Discovery Channel premiere on Saturday, September 12th at 5:30am EST.

The episode will also be available on Pursuit Channel, on The Bassquatch Hunter YouTube channel, and on select streaming platforms.
