Customers in select cities can now order 20 lb. AmeriGas propane tanks on Amazon for convenient home delivery, with spare tank and exchange tank options available.
AmeriGas is making propane tank exchange home delivery even more convenient.
Beginning May 7, 2026, customers in select markets can purchase or exchange AmeriGas propane tanks on Amazon, adding a new, easy-to-use ordering channel for propane grill tank delivery right to their homes.
At launch, the Amazon offering will be available in: Philadelphia, PA; Washington, DC; and Atlanta, GA.
Customers in these markets will be able to choose from two propane cylinder options:
- Spare tank: Order an additional full propane cylinder delivered to your home.
- Exchange tank: Set out your empty propane tank, and AmeriGas will exchange it for a full cylinder.
This new offering is designed to meet customers where they already shop, while making it easier to get the propane they need for grilling, outdoor heating, and other everyday uses. With options like next-day and two-day delivery windows available, customers can enjoy more flexibility and convenience when exchanging their tanks or ordering a spare.
